Blended to have a typical west coast character with a very high malt content (70%) and a good proportion of ex-sherry casks

and Fynbos shrub

caramel and malt weave their way through peat smoke and dark sugar and just a hint of fresh espresso coffee before it finally peters out

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat now than the nose suggested

Distilled in 2011, matured for 13 years with a 19 month finish in a first fill European oak Oloroso sherry butt, and bottled in 2025. Only 592 bottles were produced.
